Generous Gift Caps Off Northeast Community College’s $11.9 Million Campaign

Congratulations to Clements Group client, Northeast Community College who received a donation of considerably over $1 million dollars toward a facility to be built on the Northeast Community College campus to house the nursing programs of both the college and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

The gift from local philanthropists, J. Paul and Eleanor McIntosh, caps off the college’s ultra successful campaign in addition to enabling the college to establish an endowment to be used to purchase state-of-the-art nursing instruction technologies. The J. Paul and Eleanor McIntosh College of Nursing facility, named after its benefactors, is set to open in August 2010.

President Bill Path stated, "with the successful completion of our capital campaign, we can begin construction soon…we welcome the UNMC College of Nursing to our campus and look forward to providing exemplary education for all levels of nursing for generations to come".

Jan Van Note, CG Senior Vice President, who provided campaign consultation, applauded the collaborative efforts of the campaign team pointing to their impressive contributions—from the executive leadership to the grant writers, everyone contributed to the success of this effort.
