cg client facts
The Clements Group, L.C., (CG) specializes in assisting community and technical colleges to change lives and change communities. Since our founding in 1986, CG has expanded to serve over half of the community and/or technical colleges in all 50 states.
- Successful major gifts campaigns in urban and rural communities across the country have raised a combined total of over half a billion dollars.
- Current working campaigns have goals ranging from $2 million to over $100 million.
- On average, over 20 feasibility studies (in preparation for major gifts campaigns) are conducted by CG each year.
- Over 17,000 community and college “family” interviews have been conducted since CG’s founding.
- Over 35 community and/or technical college clients received at least one gift of at least $1,000,000 during campaign efforts in 2005-2008 alone.
- College clients include single campus, multi-campus, and multi-district institutions as well as state-wide systems.
- Campuses are located in communities ranging in population from less than 5,000 to over 4 million.
- Enrollments range from less than 300 students to over 100,000 students.
- Several have raised funds for Title III.
We believe our success is a direct result of our fundraising experience; our personalized approach; our knowledge of community and technical colleges; our “teach, mentor, train” approach; and the close partnerships we form with our clients.
